Dr. Tom Clyde was born in Sundance, Wyoming and raised on a ranch near Upton. He attended college at Chadran State in Chadran, Nebraska and graduated with a BA in Biology in 1969. Graduate of the University of Houston with a Doctor of Optometry in 1973. Dr. Tom Clyde served three years in the US Army at Madigan Hospital in Tacoma Washington before moving to Colorado Springs in 1976. He began a private practice on Pikes Peak Blvd. when he took over the practice of Dr. Mario Carlito and Dr. John Samson M.D. Dr. Clyde has been at the North Circle location since 1991.
Dr. Tom Clyde served as the President of the State Board of Optometry and is active in the Colorado Optometric Association. He has enjoyed watching his patients and practice grow over the many rewarding years he has been in Colorado Springs.
